About Sadler
Sadler is on U.S. 82 about twelve miles northwest of Sherman. A. J. Cross settled the area in 1869, and the town developed around 1878 when landowner John Sadler donated right-of-way to entice the Missouri, Kansas and Texas railroad. Census estimates show about 365 residents.
