About Westworth Village
Westworth Village is on State Highway 183 about four miles west of Fort Worth. In 1941 the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce deeded 1,450 acres to the federal government for a B-24 bomber plant and a landing field that became Carswell Air Force Base, and Westworth Village's residents voted to incorporate that year. Census estimates show about 2,737 residents.
