What makes these roofs different
- Condensation. Bare metal over a heated or cooled space will drip unless there's a vapor barrier or insulation. We plan for that from the start.
- Big, open spans where purlin spacing and panel choice (R-panel vs. PBR) really matter
- Wind on open land. Fastener patterns at eaves, rakes and ridges count.
- Living space under a shop roof. A barndo's living area deserves house-grade flashing, ventilation and, if you want it, a standing seam roof.
New builds and re-roofs
We work with owners and builders. Whether it's a new barndo or a 20-year-old shop roof leaking at every screw, we'll tell you whether a re-screw, a partial re-roof or a full replacement makes sense.
[CONFIRM: barndominiums & shops: do you roof them only, or also build/frame metal buildings?]
Builders and ranch owners
If you build barndominiums or manage a ranch with several buildings, call us to set up a walk-through. We'll look at every roof on the property and give you one written plan.
