Repairs we handle around Bridgeport
- Shingle roofs: blown-off tabs, lifted ridge caps, hail bruising, nail pops and cracked pipe boots.
- Metal roofs: backed-out or worn screws on R-panel shops and barns, loose trim, failed sealant at ridges and penetrations, and storm-damaged panels. We form 24- and 26-gauge panels on our own roll formers, so we can replace a damaged run instead of patching over it. We match existing panels as closely as we can, but age and the Texas sun fade metal, so we never promise an exact color match.
- Tile, slate and specialty roofs: reset, replace and re-flash broken or slipped pieces. See slate repair and tile repair and reset.
- Flat and low-slope roofs: TPO, modified bitumen and coatings, including the parapet walls where flat roofs usually leak.
- Flashing and chimneys: step flashing, counter flashing and skylight curbs.
Repair or replace? Our honest rule
If a roof has isolated damage and good years left, we repair it. If the same roof has taken hail more than once, or the leaks keep moving around, we'll show you the photos and explain why a patch won't hold. Bridgeport sees hard storms: NOAA logged 2.75-inch hail at the Bridgeport airport on May 17, 2025, and again around the airport and Runaway Bay on April 25, 2026.
How a repair call works
- Call any hour. If water is coming in, we tarp first. Tarping is priced by the size of the area, the pitch and the number of stories. When the damage is part of an insurance claim, the tarp is included in the claim. Otherwise small jobs carry a minimum charge.
- We find the real source. Water runs along decking and rafters, so the leak is often feet away from the ceiling stain.
- Photos and a written price before we start. Every inspection comes with a free digital photo report, so you see what we see. Repair pricing depends on access, roof age, condition, height and pitch.
- We make the repair and send photos of the finished work.
When your shingle has been discontinued
Shingle lines get discontinued all the time, and on an older roof the exact shingle often can't be bought anymore. We can make a temporary repair to stop the leak with the closest match we can get. Be aware that many newer homeowner policies exclude matching, or replacement of the whole roof, when a shingle is discontinued, so read your policy. We document the discontinued shingle and the damage with photos for your claim. We don't deal or negotiate with your insurance company; that conversation stays between you and your insurer.
Small jobs and big ones
We've done jobs from about $1,000 to multi-million-dollar projects, and a single leaking pipe boot gets the same care as a full re-roof. We're certified with Johns Manville, GAF, CertainTeed, Owens Corning and Atlas.
Insurance and storm repairs
We document the damage with photos and measurements for your claim. We don't adjust or negotiate claims; you work the claim with your insurance company. Texas law requires you to pay your deductible, and we never waive or rebate it.
Snow Roofing & Exteriors is A+ rated on the BBB. 5.0 stars on Google at all three offices: Bridgeport (86 reviews), Decatur (13 reviews) and Rhome (3 reviews).
How fast we respond
We offer same-day response in almost every case, and we answer leak and storm calls 24/7. If water is coming in, we tarp first.
Signs your roof needs a repair
- A ceiling stain, or a stain that grows after each rain
- Shingles, tabs or ridge caps on the ground after wind
- Granules piling up in gutters or at downspouts
- Dented gutters, vents or flashing after hail (soft metal dents are a hail record)
- On metal roofs: screws backing out, rust at laps or cut edges, loose ridge cap or trim
- Daylight or damp insulation in the attic
Look from the ground or a window. Please don't climb on a wet or storm-damaged roof; that's our job.
What a repair costs, and why we don't post a price list
Some roofers post flat repair price ranges. We'd rather quote your actual roof, because the same leak can be a quick fix or a bigger job depending on a few things:
| Factor | Why it changes the price |
|---|---|
| Access and height | Two-story and hard-to-reach areas take more setup and safety work. |
| Pitch | Steep roofs need more safety gear and slow the work down. |
| Roof age and condition | Brittle shingles or tired metal can break around the repair area. |
| Roof type | Slate, tile and specialty shingles cost more to match and set than standard shingles. |
| Hidden damage | Soft decking found under the repair adds work, and we show you photos before doing it. |
You get a written price before work starts. Small jobs carry a minimum charge.
While you wait for us
- Move belongings and electronics away from the drip and put down a bucket or towels.
- If a ceiling is bulging with water, keep people out from under it.
- Take photos of the inside damage with the date. They help with any claim.
- Call (817) 733-9228 any hour, and we'll tarp first if water is coming in.
Permits and HOA approval in Bridgeport
- Permit: Bridgeport doesn't currently require a residential re-roof permit, so there's no permit wait before we start.
- HOA approval: if you have an HOA, we handle it start to finish, including the color and product submittals and the approval paperwork.
Residential warranty: a workmanship warranty from 10 years up to lifetime, depending on the job, with manufacturer warranties up to lifetime. Manufacturer coverage depends on the product and brand, and on the project qualifying for that manufacturer's program. We put the exact warranty for your roof in writing.
