Where Camelot II looks best
- Steep pitches, turrets and big hips, where the tall tabs stack into a slate-like pattern
- Stone and brick exteriors with heavy trim
- Homes replacing an older designer roof that want the same weight of look

Installation details that matter
Camelot II's exposure and layering leave little room for error: courses must be straight, offsets consistent, and hips and valleys cut cleanly. Turrets and curved walls need hand-trimmed pieces. That's the work our crews are known for. Texas insurers must offer a premium credit for UL 2218 impact-rated roofs, but each company sets its own amount, and Class 4 earns the largest. We can't promise a discount; ask your insurer for their figure in writing. After a qualifying install we fill out TDI Form PC068 for you.
How we install designer shingles
- Inspection and photo report. Every inspection comes with a free digital photo report, so you see what we see.
- Samples on your house. Designer color blends look different in Texas sun than in a brochure, so we bring full-size samples.
- HOA packet. Product sheet, color name and photos for your architectural committee.
- Tear-off and deck check. Designer shingles are heavy and show every dip in the deck, so we fix soft spots first.
- Manufacturer-matched system. Starter, hip and ridge, underlayment and ventilation from the same maker, installed to their instructions so the full warranty applies.
- Final walk and photos.
Residential warranty: a 10-year transferable workmanship warranty, with manufacturer warranties up to lifetime. Manufacturer coverage depends on the product and brand, and on the project qualifying for that manufacturer's program. We put the exact warranty for your roof in writing.
